Born in Fresno and raised in Southern California, Michael Stewart is a passionate and dedicated educator with a Master of Arts in Teaching, emphasizing Curriculum and Instruction, from La Sierra University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from California State University, Long Beach. With teaching experience across Riverside and Los Angeles counties, he is committed to fostering inclusive, culturally responsive learning environments where all students feel valued, empowered, and equipped to succeed. As a father, mentor, and community advocate, he brings both personal and professional dedication to youth development, serving as the site coordinator for the UBORA Mentoring Program, where he supports students in cultivating identity, purpose, and cultural pride. Additionally, through his work with Big Brothers Big Sisters, he remains deeply engaged in nurturing academic achievement and social-emotional growth in young people. With strong expertise in curriculum design, instructional strategies, and educational technology he is driven by a profound desire to push his community and culture forward, using education as a transformative force to uplift and inspire the next generation.
